A local base ready to receive the brief.
WordPress Studio
The same base for everyone
Create a local site with Quick Start and learn only what this journey needs.
Speaker notes
Introduce Studio as a local environment. The goal is not to explore every menu; it is to create a predictable base for building the page.
Preflight
Check before you begin
1
Studio installed
Use the stable version specified by the workshop.
2
WordPress.com account
Optional for the local site; required for AI features and Preview.
3
Assets available
Prepare the project folder.
Speaker notes
Run this check before the event. A WordPress.com account is not required to create the local site, but it is required for AI features such as Studio Code and for Preview. If Studio Code is unavailable, keep the starter fallback site ready for the Site Editor portion.

Speaker notes
Confirm all three points live. If something fails, switch to the fallback starter site rather than spending the journey on configuration.
